I’ve decide to stop chasing spread trading pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!! I’ve spent more than enough time looking at charts and numbers and £ signs. I’ve cancelled my data feed subscription and I’m not looking at charts anymore, I don’t even know where the FTSE is!

I decided that I was spending an out of proportion time on something that was bearing no fruits. I needed to focus on something that would have a far higher chance of bringing me an income. My house has been on the market since Oct and if it doesn’t sell very soon things will start to get desperate. Apparently September is the best month of the year for selling houses in the UK, hey ho. I’ve been paying mortgage on a property I’m not even living in for the past 5 months, the worst 5 months for house selling, let’s hope the market picks up and I sell it.

All the above said, I’ve not totally dropped the idea that I won’t revisit spread trading at some point in the future when I’m more financially secure and have money that can be truly called play money. Never gamble with money you can’t afford to lose!
